Career and Personal Life:
Right after graduating from the University, she started her career in a very small station in Ohio. It worked at NBC affiliated station, WTAP-TV. Because it had been a little station Abby got tons of freedom to find out from special effects, video editing software to anchoring and production.
Abby received several Associated Press Awards for her work there and later moved to Knoxville, Tennessee for a far better opportunity. She worked on WTAP-TV for 2 years and joined WBIR 10News as an anchor and reporter, where she reported on several stories, including the coverage of a warehouse fire that led her to a regional Emmy nomination.
In 2007 She leaves WBIR and starts working for WKYC Channel 3 in Tegna. She anchored a top-rated morning newscast in a large news market for WKYC and also she reported on the 2008 presidential election of the USA.
To be close to her family, Abby left the station in 2009 and returned Tennessee to join WBIR again. She has been part of her team since then and is currently serving as a morning presenter.
