He worked for ten years at WTVH, the CBS Affiliate in Syracuse, New York, where he was Sports Director and anchor. Kevin was also a play-by-play announcer for Time Warner Cable Sports and hosted Syracuse University football and basketball games on WSYR-AM radio. Prior to that, Kevin was a sports reporter at WBNG-TV in Binghamton.
Kevin joined News 12 Long Island in 2010 after sports anchoring jobs in Syracuse and Binghamton. His award-winning coverage of events includes Super Bowls, All-Star Games, the World Series, the Stanley Cup playoffs, and LI Ducks championships.
Maher can also periodically be seen on MSG Networks coverage of the Knicks and Rangers pre-game and post-game shows.
