Saina Nehwal is a right-handed badminton star player from India. She is the woman from India who wins a medal in Olympic in badminton. Saina wins the Bronze medal in the London Olympics in 2012.
She is the first Indian woman who achieved 1st ranking in badminton and second Indian who got 1st ranking after the Prakash Padukone in Badminton World Federation.
Saina is the first women from India who win the World Junior Badminton championship and also first Indian who win a super series tournament by clinching Indonesia open in 2009
S.M.Arif a Dronacharya Award winner is the coach of Saina Nehwal after Pullela Gopichand left coaching Nehwal and now in current Vimal Kumar is the coach of her. She played for Hyderabad Hotshots in India Badminton League in 2013. In the 2015 BWF World championship, Saina won the silver medal and became the first Indian woman who wins this.
