Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll was born on 2 Feb 1977 in Barranquilla Colombia. Her father’s name is William Mebarak Chadid and his mother’s name is Nidia Ripoll Torrado. She is the only child of parents also her grandparents migrated from Lebanon to New York City. She spent most of her childhood in Barranquilla, Colombia. She was just four at age when Shakira’s father took her to a local restaurant and she performed a song there. She enjoyed singing with school mates and studied at catholic school. Shakira fall in a relationship with the Spanish soccer player Gerard Pique. The couple had first child back in 2013, named him Milan which means “dear, loving and gracious. They got their 2nd child in January 2015. The couple is living very happily and the world’s famous couple as well.
